Induction Tempering / Hardening

Induction hardening is today the most economical method for hardening part of the workpiece surface. Thermo-chemical processes are more suitable for hardening the entire workpiece surface.

​The penetration depth of the thermal energy depends on the working frequency of the induction generator. The higher the working frequency, the smaller the penetration depth.
